Happiness Cottage is an 18th century semi detached cottage with inglenook fireplace in the picturesque village of Piddlehinton nestled in the heart of Thomas Hardy’s Dorset. This pretty thatched grade 2 listed property is within easy reach of many of Dorset’s beautiful bays and beaches along the Jurassic coast and is perfectly situated for many of Dorset’s natural and historical attractions.

Upstairs there is a bright double bedroom and a second spacious twin  bedroom. The bathroom has both a bath and shower. Outside the cottage the enclosed garden has a sun terrace with table and chairs perfect for breakfast or evening drinks, and a grassed sloping lawn area.

The attractive and friendly village of Piddlehinton boasts 3 pubs serving local traditional food, a village millennium green and the pretty river Piddle running through the heart of the village just a stones throw from the cottage. Step out from the front door and enjoy many picturesque country walks. There is also a village shop nearby selling local farm produce.
